The deli quality is lacking. My husband and I bought a couple plates a while back, and there were substances I couldn't identify in my plate- probably from other food on the hot bar, but nothing I wanted contaminating the food I chose.
Make sure you check expiration dates. Some items have probably been on the shelves a while and they are not regularly removed and replaced.
Quick visit to obtain some apples. Took a while to select quality apples. Finally found and purchased two apples that we're not bruised or rotting. Check out was quick.
Great produce as per usual with all Ingles stores
The checkout time is always fast. The stores are always clean and well lit as well. Plus, the aisles are actually wide enough for two people to pass each other without having to shave the edge of the shelf off.
The only grocery store Belton has. I only shop here when I have to because of the high prices.
Note that this location does not have a Starbucks inside, if that kind of thing is important to you.
The variety and availability is nice. Ingles carries many items that might be hard to find elsewhere, but you will be paying for it.
I do my shopping at ALDI almost exclusively, and save probably 40% to 50% on groceries.
Flower shop is awesome and has a decent selection of Party favors and a good Flower shop area. (They even have a bouquet of flowers in the Restrooms... how nice is that... huh)
They only survive because they are the only grocery store in belton. The employees are rude. They deli employees don't know what they are doing and they show favor to the people they know. I go to publix or bi lo unless I am in a hurry and ingles is right down the road from me.
Clean, neat and well stocked with a great Customer Service counter and Express Checkout
I find it difficult to navigate. Unlike places like Walmart, at least they do not rearrange their products all the time. I am just not used to shopping at Ingles and the layout is a little funny. Similar items don't seem to be grouped together logically which makes it hard to find what you're looking for. Brownie mix is in a different place from cake mix, for example. Muffin mix is on a different aisle too. I am sure there is a logic to it- I just haven't figured it out.
Always nice, efficient and friendly.
The staff is nice, which is typical for Belton.
